My name is Richard Alvarez and I will be serving as the Jr. Mighty Mite and Mighty Mite VP for La Habra Pop Warner in the 2011 season. I currently reside in the city of Whittier where I was born and raised. I spent my youth days playing football for the Whittier Redskins, and then moved on to play football for St. Paul High School. I have coached and have been involved with youth sports throughout the local youth organizations. The sports that I have been involved in include baseball, basketball, and football. This will be my second year involved with La Habra Pop Warner. I have a nephew entering his second year in the football program.

This year I will also have two nieces who will be joining cheerleading. I look forward to a safe and successful 2011 year with the Mighty Mite Divisions, and I would like to wish all La Habra Lions a great year.
